Using Drama in teaching languages is a good way to develop students' speaking skills and motivate them in learning. It helps them to become creative and gives the opportunity to show their achievements and gain public recognition which is very important for every child.
Drama performance is valuable for both: actors and spectators. If you give a special while watching task to viewers they benefit even more.Though 'actors' , of course , get more advantages as they do a lot before a show. Steps before:
1. do a lot of exercises to activate the new vocabulary and learn grammar structures ,
2.get aquainted with the text ,
3.discuss the text , distribute parts and learn them,
4.practise acting .
Here I gladly share the scripts of some fairy tales which were adapted to the level and number of each of my students' groups.
